Barrett Comes Home from the ICN....Thursday, January 15, 2009

As has been the case so far, I won yet another race against my "little brother"...this time, to come home earlier from the hospital! As you can see in these pictures, little is relative in this stage of life (just look at me in my car seat and you'll see what I mean)....but that's 2 wins for me in just over a week!!

You can see the look of embarrassment on his face, he couldn't even stand to watch as I was fitted for my car seat to head on home.

Although I enjoyed the win, I can't wait to have Will home!

Barrett & Will - Presbyterian Hospital (January 6, 2008)

Mom woke up in the middle of the night to tell Dad is was time to go!! After stopping to put gas in the SUV at 3:30 in the morning (Mom ran it out and Dad was so glad it wasn't him), we were soon at the hospital ready for our quick entry into the world! Barrett got a headstart, she didn't play fair because she was in front of me when they said go, arriving at 7:00 am and Will arriving at 7:01 am.

We surprised everyone and decided to come a couple of weeks before they expected....but we didn't come early enough to worry everyone!! Mom and Dad probably would not have been smiling quite so much in these pictures had they known how much there was to do before we came!!
